ISRO is on a mission PSLV-C53 on June 30, 2022. It is scheduled to launch at 6 pm IST from the second launch pad at Satish Dhawan Space Center, Sriharikota. The 25-hour countdown to launch begins at 5:00 pm IST on June 29, 2022.



PSLV-C53 is the second dedicated commercial mission of NewSpace India Limited (NSIL). It is designed to orbit the DS-EO satellite along with two other Singaporean passenger satellites. This is the 55th mission for PSLV and the 15th to use the PSLV-Core Alone variant. This is the 16th PSLV launch from the second launch pad. The proposed mission demonstrates the use of the used upper stage of the launch vehicle as a stable platform for the scientific payload after satellite separation.

A four-story PSLV-C53 44.4 m high has a takeoff weight of 228,433 tons. It will put the satellite DS-EO into an orbit with a semi-major axis of 6948.137 + 20 km, at an altitude of 570 km from the equator, with a slight inclination of 10 degrees. + 0,20

PSLV-C53 carries three satellites. DS-EO, a 365 kg satellite, and NeuSAR, a 155 kg satellite are both owned by Singapore. The third satellite is the 2.8 kg Scoob-1 of Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore.

DS-EO carries an electro-optical multi-spectral payload that will provide colour imaging for soil classification and response to humanitarian assistance and disaster relief needs. NeuSAR is Singapore's first small commercial satellite carrying SAR payload, capable of providing day and night imagery in all weather conditions. The SCOOB-I satellite is the first in the Student Satellite Series (S3-I), a hands-on student training program at the Satellite Research Center (SaRC) of the NTU School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. in Singapore.

The PSLV Orbital Experiment Module (POEM) operation includes science experiments in orbit using the used PS4 stage as the orbital platform. This is the first time the PS4 scene orbits the earth as a stable platform. Attitude stabilization is achieved using a dedicated NGC system. POEM uses energy from solar panels mounted around the PS4 tank and a Li-Ion battery. It navigates using four solar sensors, a magnetometer, gyroscope and NavIC. It carries dedicated controllable propulsion that uses helium storage. It is activated by the remote control function.

POEM carries six payloads, including two from Indian space startups M/s Digantara and M/s Dhruva Space, enabled through IN-SPACe and NSIL
